WHO NEEDS TECHNICAL FOOTBEDS?
All 'off the shelf' orthotic footbeds encourage the foot to take up a neutral position. ie. the natural alignment of the bones in the foot and lower limbs.
For the past fifteen years we have been seeing people in our factory who have had a history of bootfitting/foot issues. Many we fit with 'off the shelf' orthotics some we refer to qualified podiatrists and may already have their own podiatrist specified footbeds and providing those footbeds are within the boots internal dimensions then we can successfully use them.
We will suggest during fitting assessment which may be the best to use. Our suggestion will be based not only on the type of foot or fitting problems but also on the type of use and conditions the boots will be faced with.
