"In August 2008, Gordon May pulled on his Altberg Hogg Lites, mounted his 1953 Royal Enfield Bullet and set off for India - The Royal Enfield Factory in Chennai ....8400 miles. Despite encountering intense heat - temperatures were often in excess of 40°C - suffering a crash in the Baluchistan desert and battling against some of the worst roads and driving standards on the planet, Gordon and his old Bullet did make it to Chennai. He has written a brilliant book about his experiences, "Overland to India", in which he describes how he restored his beloved motorcycle, the build up to departure, the larger than life characters he met on the road and how he tackled the many challenges that came his way."

Dual use walking/bike boot, does not have a waterproof membrane lining, so the boot is much cooler in hot weather. Midsole is 3 laminate random fibre which "beds in" with use & becomes more flexible - The Hogg Lite is a "tried & tested" boot for 2-3 seasons active use.
