Gamekeeper Boot

The Gamekeeper boot is a general use – high leg – country boot, with a tough Vibram® rubber sole and rubber toe rand, to give improved abrasion resistance in undergrowth, or on rough terrain. The boot has a superb one-piece leather upper construction, made from top quality, full grain Anfibio leather 2.6-2.8mm thick. The high leg support is excellent and the 3-4 season midsole gives good, firm support on rough, uneven ground.

Level of Waterproofness

The Gamekeeper boot has a high level of waterproofing around the foot - however it is not a wellington and waterproofing in the leg and ankle area cannot be guaranteed.

In bad conditions gaiters should should always be worn to enhance waterproofing.

The Gamekeeper boots should be treated with Leder-Gris® just the same as a leather boot.

Leather does not have to be completely dry before applying Leder-Gris®. Leder-Gris® may still be applied when leather is a little damp.

If leather is constantly going through a cycle of wet and dry, or if there are signs of ‘leather hardening’, which can lead to ‘flex cracking’ – apply an occasional, ‘one-off’ treatment of Leder-Gris® Xtreme

If leather is CONSTANTLY wet, then occasional treatments of Leder-Gris® Xtreme is recommended – in addition to Leder-Gris® Original
